She was born in Užice, where she attended secondary medical school, majoring in nurse-technician. She graduated from the Higher Health School of Vocational Studies and then completed Specialist Vocational Studies. For almost two decades, she worked at the Children's Clinic, the Department of Intensive Care and Therapy, as well as in private general surgery clinics. She is employed in the Multipurpose Visitor Service of the Health Center.

While working at the Children's Clinic, she gained experience in the specifics of treating and caring for seriously ill infants and young children. In the patronage service, she upgraded her knowledge and skills in promoting the health of pregnant women, newborns and midwives, small children, and the elderly over 65 years of age. There, she led the Parenting and Weaning Diet schools.

She continuously enhances her knowledge in the field of pregnancy, childbirth, and maternal and newborn care.

She is a proud wife and mother of two children.
